a vida Portuguesa

A Vida Portuguesa was born from the desire to create an inventory of brands that have stood the test of time, in order to highlight the quality of Portuguese manufacturing and present Portugal in a surprising light.

In recent years, the team traveled the country, from north to south, in search of products created and manufactured in Portugal. Products passed down from generation to generation and which continue to touch our hearts today.

Cécile M

Cécile Mestelan is French, originally from Biarritz, and has lived in Portugal since 2014, driven by her passion for ceramics. As an artist, she has a workshop in Lisbon where she makes colorful ceramic tableware and unique objects. She loves creating simple, elegant pieces that bring a feeling of joy, harmony, inspiration, balance or even power.

In her work she plays with colors, shapes, textures and sometimes words to create pieces that are sensory experiences to hold in your hand or to have at home. Each piece is crafted with care, carrying a unique intention and designed to add something special to the everyday.
